As an HR Business Enabler at LyondellBasell you are the linking pin between the manufacturing sites (Botlek and Maasvlakte) and the international corporate vision on people and HR. As one of the on-site go-to HR specialists you will be dealing with all site related operational, tactical and strategical HR activities. You partner directly with international key stakeholders and you will add value by making sure day to day business not only flows smoothly but while “in the field” you always look for ways to improve. From that perspective you will participate or lead HR improvement projects on local, national and international level aligning with HR specialists all over the world. You will create best practices for other sites or locations!

As an HR Business Enabler at LyondellBasell you are a fast adapter and a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset able to get into the in-depth question behind the question fast. On operational as well as on conceptual level.

As a business addict you understand the processes, products and complexity of a manufacturing site and you enable people to flourish by finding creative solutions to solve problems. You are people focused, extrovert, not afraid to have constructive discussions and you connect fast on all levels. You feel at home in a manufacturing as well as in a corporate environment and last but not least you are structured, organized and very well capable of saying no in order to prioritize.

This is what you bring

  • Bachelor's degree Human Resources Management, Business Administration or comparable
  • A solid HR fundamentals and broad-based experience in HR, including employee relations in the Netherlands and in-depth knowledge and understanding of Dutch employment laws
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Advisor/Business Partner in a comparable (manufacturing) environment
  • Experience with driving change
