Overview
The People Operations Generalist will work closely with the EMEA people team members in the UK, Netherlands and Poland. Reporting to the People & Culture Director based in the UK. Supported by and ultimately reporting to the US People Team HQ.
The People Operations Generalist will provide day-to-day support to employees and leaders across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding/off-boarding processes, reporting, systems management, Benefits and Payroll administration. The People Operations Advisor will also assist in developing and delivering necessary HR policies and programmes which support the EMEA team
Responsibilities
- HRIS (ADP), Reporting & Data Management
- Execute on ADP data management, reporting, audit, calculation, and controls
- Perform HRIS administration tasks, including user setup/access, workflows, task builds and updates, data maintenance and configuration updates
- Research, resolve, and document data discrepancies
- Prepare, modify, and distribute reports
- Setup and maintain foundational hierarchy and structures for organizations and jobs
- Create systems administration documentation and user guides on an ongoing basis
- Benefits/Perks Management & Administration
- Support the benefits/perks strategy at GumGum by providing thorough research, analysis and recommendations
- Serve as the main point of contact for all EMEA team members on benefits & perks questions. Ensure timely response and resolution to questions and issues
- Track and process new hire benefits & perks eligibility and status changes
- Process life event changes and termination of coverage with the broker
- Manage monthly EMEA benefit invoicing and auditing to ensure reconciliation with payroll billing. Follows up on billing issues and employee deduction discrepancies
- Keep a pulse on benefits trends & offerings. Research offerings and subsequently create and present benefits comparisons
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations that could impact the benefits/perks strategy
- Manage EMEA leave of absences requests, processes, strategy and ensure compliance

- Contribute HR policy development and documentation inline with GumGum’s mission/vision while managing compliance risk
- Work Permits
- Make applications for new hires and permit renewals
- On-boarding & Separations
- Manage all on-boarding/off-boarding activities for new hires/separations
- Payroll Administration
- Insure all changes are correctly collated throughout the month
- Reporting/explaining changes to our payroll team at payroll cut-off each month
- Supporting employee queries around payroll
- Liaising with the US payroll teams to resolve queries
